Seekers Media is seeking a paid intern to join our team of creatives in producing travel, event and lifestyle content about Western Canada.

Note: the successful applicant will be familiar with our various online platforms, including our online magazines and social media channels. 

What you'll be doing 

As a part of our team, you'll be assisting in online content creation, putting your recent education and training to work. 

Working alongside Seekers Media's publisher, you'll be advancing your skills and experience in media production, including adapting the latest techniques in digital, from AI to SEO to social media engagement. 

Your qualifications 
  • Student or recent graduate (within past 3 years) of a post-secondary media program in BC 
  • Strong copywriting, familiar with use of AI, SEO, copywriting trends 
  • BYO workstation (for remote work - personal computer, mobile phone & dedicated work space) 
  • Familiarity working with content management systems is an asset

Position: F/T paid internship, remote 
Hours: 30h/week 
Duration: Oct 21 - Jan 24* *flexible, with potential to adjust/extend 

Pay & benefits
  • $20/hour - for 30 hours per week (flexible), paid as a consultant to Seekers Media 
  • ongoing training from Seekers Media to graduate digital media publishing abilities
